Pressure is not the answer to everything
A pressure washer in the wrong hands will strip render off a wall, blow the granules off roof tiles, etch permanent lines into sandstone and force water in behind the laps of a roof. It looks impressive for an afternoon and costs a fortune to put right.
Roofs, render and soft stone get softwashed instead — low pressure, and a treatment that kills the growth at the root so it stays gone for longer. Hard surfaces like block paving and concrete get the pressure they can take, and no more.

Plymouth grows this stuff for a living
Mild, wet and coastal, with a lot of mature trees and a lot of north-facing walls. It is close to perfect conditions for algae, moss and lichen — which is why exterior cleaning is not a luxury here in the way it might be somewhere dry.

What areas do you cover?
Plymouth and the surrounding area — Plymstock, Plympton, Derriford, Saltash, Torpoint, Ivybridge, Wembury and out towards Tavistock, Kingsbridge and into South East Cornwall as far as Looe and Liskeard. Full list here. If you are not sure, just ask.
How do I get a price?
Send a photo on WhatsApp with a rough idea of where you are. For most jobs that is enough to give you a price without anyone needing to visit. Bigger or more awkward jobs we will come and look at properly.
Is the quote free?
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it.
Do you charge by the hour or by the job?
By the job. You get a figure for the work, agreed before anything starts, and that is what you pay. Day rates create arguments about how long something took.
Do you need my water and electricity?
No. We carry our own water and power. If using an outside tap is easier we will ask first.
What if it rains?
Most of this work happens in the rain quite happily — the surface is about to get soaked anyway. Treatments need a dry window to work properly, so occasionally we will move a day. You will hear from us rather than being left wondering.
